I made a song that sounds really great, however it is too close to something that I listen to, to ever be put out. I think.
Spreepark is an old abandoned amusement park initially run by East Berlin and opened in 1969. After ownership changes the park failed and now apparently carries more than ten million Euros in debt. The park is full of abandoned rides and broken windows and during winter is mostly buried in snow. It wasn’t the easiest thing to get inside, but well worth the effort.
These swans were everywhere, some sinking into silty water, some beached on the banks of the river that ringed most of the park, some in neat rows like cars in an Ikea parking lot. All were full of muck. some had jaunty googley eyes. Photos by Matthew Borgatti + har.ms
